Elizabeth Ocean's Insights on Mental Health, Soul Alignment, and the Path Back to Yourself
“Healing begins when we stop abandoning ourselves. ” - Elizabeth Ocean
One of the things I love most about hosting conversations during the Women's Spirit Festival is that they often reveal truths that go far beyond the original topic.
Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with a guest who shared her journey through depression, healing, and the transformative role the Akashic Records played in helping her reconnect with herself. While every woman's path is unique, the conversation highlighted something I have observed repeatedly throughout my years as a business mentor and founder of the Women's Holistic Business Academy:
Many women are not simply exhausted. They are disconnected from themselves.
We live in a world that rewards productivity, achievement, and constant action. Women are often taught to care for everyone around them while ignoring their own needs, desires, and inner wisdom. Over time, this can create a gap between who we truly are and how we are living.
That gap can show up in many ways.
Sometimes it appears as burnout. Sometimes it appears as anxiety. Sometimes it appears as depression, overwhelm, or a feeling that life has lost its meaning.
The conversation reminded me that healing is rarely about becoming someone new. More often, healing is about remembering who you were before the world told you who you should be.

One of the themes that stood out for me was the idea of the soul blueprint. Whether you resonate with the Akashic Records or not, I believe there is value in asking deeper questions about our lives.
Who am I beneath my roles and responsibilities?
What do I truly want?
What feels aligned for me now?
These are questions many women avoid because they are busy surviving. Yet they are often the very questions that create clarity, purpose, and transformation.

I also appreciated the reminder that healing does not always require dramatic change. Sometimes the most powerful shifts begin with simple daily practices.
Checking in with yourself each morning.
Taking a walk outside.
Moving your body.
Creating moments of stillness.
Listening to your intuition before listening to everyone else's opinions.
"Small moments of self-connection create powerful long-term transformation."
As women, we often believe we need a perfect plan before taking action. In reality, clarity usually comes after we begin moving forward.
The guest shared practical tools for reconnecting with ourselves, but the underlying message was even more important: we are not powerless.
No matter how long you've felt stuck, disconnected, or uncertain, change is possible.
It may not happen overnight. It may not happen in a straight line. But every step toward greater self-awareness creates momentum.
"It is never too late to choose a different path."
That is one of the core messages behind everything we teach at the Women's Holistic Business Academy. Whether we are discussing business, relationships, wellbeing, or personal growth, sustainable success begins with alignment.
When we reconnect with who we truly are, we stop building our lives from obligation and begin creating them from intention.
And from that place, everything can change.
